美國當地時間8月28日晚，2011年MTV音樂錄影帶大獎的頒獎典禮在美國加州洛杉磯的諾基亞劇院舉行，Katy Perry，Lady Gaga，Adele成為當晚最大的贏家，紛紛抱得自己的“登月人”，今年的VMA又是一場女歌手的勝利。
最終，提名階段10項提名領跑的Katy Perry終于走出了“陪跑”的怪圈，收獲了分量最重的“年度最佳錄影帶獎”，同時與Kanye West特合作的《E.T.》還幫其將“最佳合唱”和“最佳特效”兩項大獎攬入懷中。“10中3”的結果不算完美，但對Katy創造歷史的《Teenage Dream》專輯來所也是不小的肯定。而之前憑借今年大熱單曲《Rolling In The Deep》一曲拿下七個提名的Adele一舉將“最佳藝術指導”“最佳剪輯”“最佳攝影”"最佳攝影"等4個“技術類”獎項攬入懷中，令人欣喜。
其它方面，作為今年VMA的開場表演嘉賓，Lady Gaga再次讓世人“意外”了一把，她化身頹廢男造型，“瘋狂”地獻唱了自己的單曲《You And I》，在舞台上吞雲吐霧、喝酒、跳鋼琴令人瞠目結舌。最終Gaga憑借《Born This Way》獲得了“最佳女歌手錄影帶”和“Best Video With A Message”。另外，今年MTV很應景的將“最佳流行音樂錄影帶”頒給了Britney Spears的《Till The World Ends》，以表彰這位流行天後給世界流行音樂做出的貢獻。
其它獲獎者還包括，Justin Bieber、Beyonce、Nicki Minaj、Taylor Swift、締造者（Tyler, The Creator）等。
katy終於不用陪跑了。每次看到她都能進5甲，就是沒有獎～ see see... 這個不錯
