此外，為了展現品牌實力，搭配PowerShot G1 X在台上市，現場亦同步展出兩款超強類單眼相機，包括具備35倍超長變焦鏡頭的PowerShot SX40 HS以及功能強大的輕巧隨身機PowerShot S100，勢必再掀起類單眼相機新狂潮。

發表會開始前，我們先來看G1 X的外觀
PowerShot G1 X配備1.5吋超大CMOS影像感測器，並搭載最新一代DIGIC 5影像處理器，打造媲美數位單眼相機的高畫質影像，是專業攝影玩家的必備幾款。另外也內建閃光燈，開關位於上方。

相機頂端，EV值直接利用轉軸調整。PowerShot G1X支援多種曝光模式，更提供高動態範圍(HDR)拍攝模式，於極高反差的光源環境下，自動拍攝3張不同曝光設定的相片，再分析不同光暗部分，於每個畫素進行微調，最後結合為一張高動態範圍的相片。

G1X俱有HDMI插槽。PowerShot G1 X支援Full HD(1920x1080)影片拍攝，配備動態穩定技術(Dynamic IS)，能修正手持相機作廣角映片拍攝時產生的震動，讓畫面穩定流暢。

3吋92.2萬點多角度LCD翻轉螢幕及多組控制轉盤，方便迅速調校各項設定。內建嶄新研發的DIGIC 5數位影像處理器，雜訊處理速度提升6倍，於高感光度設定下拍攝，依然保持低雜訊表現，更支援寬廣感光度範圍達ISO100-12800。整體性能比上一代提升50%，帶來極速啓動速度及操控反應，讓拍攝更流暢，輕易捕捉清晰銳利影像。

Canon推出革命性類單眼旗艦幾款PowerShot G1 X，配備接近數位單眼相機APS-C大小的1.5吋超大CMOS影像感測器，面積為一般數位相機的6.3倍，一舉提升相機的集光功能，大幅改善雜訊。PowerShot G1 X在提升感光元件面積的同時，並內建新一代DIGIC 5數位影像處理器，處理速度提高6倍，整體性能較上一代提升50%。此外，面積來說比G12增加1.4倍、28mm廣角4倍光學變焦f/2.8大光圈鏡頭，提供可媲美數位單眼相機的高品質影像。
支援ISO100~12800的感光範圍、4級防震光學影像穩定器，以及ND濾鏡等，讓消費者盡享專業流暢的拍攝過程，更可輕易捕捉清晰銳利影像。也具備多種自動調整功能，如多區域自動白平衡調整、32種自動場景偵測等，方便消費者於不同場景環境進行拍攝。小編實際使用過後非常順手，機身也蠻輕的，操控上與Canon系列相機差不多。
