關於這部曾在2010被曝光，在發展超人再起(Superman Return)之前的超人電影計畫，被製作成一部The Death of "Superman Lives": What Happened?紀錄片，
這部也將會在2015聖地牙哥動漫展上會有相關活動，國外將發行藍光以及DVD版本，目前以開始接受預訂。而網路上也發布了10分鐘片段內容，
來一窺這部當初由提姆波頓以及尼克拉斯凱吉所組合的超人計畫幕後秘辛。
