4K-capable Snapdragon 800 headed to new LG Optimus phones
LG have confirmed that they will be using Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 processors in their forthcoming Optimus G series phones. The chipset, still yet to be seen in a consumer device, is one of (if not the) most powerful mobile processor available, capable of outputting 4K video, running each of its four cores at 2.3GHz, and decoding 7.1 audio signals alongside UHD content. It's a beast.
