關於派拉蒙會宣布重新啟動(Reboot)13號星期五(FRIDAY THE 13TH)的緣故，可以參考先前IVANSHAN所發表的，
華納為了參一腳在克里斯多夫諾蘭(Christopher Nolan)下一部作品Interstellar裡因此讓渡部分作品給派拉蒙所使用，
而重新啟動(Reboot)的13號星期五(FRIDAY THE 13TH)的上映時間也很快的決定再一個非常擁擠的2015年上映
並挑選了一個黑色星期五日期，2015年3月13號上映。(2015年除了3月外2月11月也都有黑色星期五)

派拉蒙將本片延後8個月，3月13號改成11月13號(依舊是個13號星期五!!)，而本片將由V/H/S導演David Bruckner擔任執導

黑色星期五是拍的不怎麼樣濃縮一二集的劇情在演而已 派拉蒙將有請電視劇漢尼拔 (Hannibal)編劇Nick Antosca撰寫一份新的13號星期五Friday the 13th劇本，電影預定2016年5月13日上映。
