Apple的Macbook筆電Thunderbolt介面幾乎已經是標準外接介面，Thunderbolt介面最高頻寬可達雙向10Gb/s，但一般硬碟是無法把全部的頻寬用完，如使用SSD是可以獲得不錯的效能，但一般外接行動硬碟許多人也同時當作備份資料來使用，而SSD卻無法像硬碟一樣隨便就是TB級的容量。
近期WD推出一款搭載Thunderbolt介面的行動硬碟My Passport Pro，採用雙硬碟配置可製作RAID功能，RAID部分可設定為RAID0/1/JBOD，並提供2TB/4TB高容量可供消費者選擇，讓有大容量需求或是資料備份需求的玩家有更好的選擇
除此之外My Passport Pro針對Apple Mac系統做了許多優化與軟體上的對應，出廠預設硬碟格式為NFS+J格式，軟體部分也支援了Apple Time Machine備份功能，功能可以說是相當全面與完整。

WD這次所推出的Thunderbolt介面行動硬碟My Passport Pro藉由雙硬碟的配置與RAID功能做搭配，可以達到高容量高效能，或是以資料備份為最高優先，可改成RAID1配置
WD在硬碟內安裝了主動式散熱風扇，可讓硬碟溫度更低，延長使用壽命
在外觀部分採用全金屬機身設計，提高了耐撞性與防護性，整體外觀相當耐看，質感也還不錯
不過比較可惜的是My Passport Pro價位屬於較高價位的產品，CP值降低了不少，但如果需要大容量與高效能的玩家，相信是個不錯的選擇
