variety有一篇新聞，內文中提到關於DC電影作品的一些內容，在最後一段也是目前現階段的，目前並無在戲院或HBO Max上發布Snyder版本的計劃。

據THR的報導目前還不確定片子會是以近4個小時的版本，或者分為6章節上架，但目前ZACK正在整合該片原後期製作團隊的大部分人員來做後製，配樂、剪輯、以及新製作的特效，可能還會找不少演員們回歸來追加錄一些對話。目前也不知道做導剪版要花多少錢，有兩個消息源分別給出了2000萬美元左右和更接近3000萬美元級別的答案。ZACK表示導剪版“將是一個全新的東西”，他也表示至今還未看過院線版的正義聯盟，稱院線版中可能有他做的1/4。
