12年的超級英雄類型作品配樂太久了，並說到這次為蝙蝠俠對超人:正義曙光Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice配樂編寫裡，想寫出
新的創意變得非常困難。
"I did Batman Begins with Chris 12 years ago, so The Dark Knight Trilogy might be three movies to you, to me it was 11 years of my life," he said, explaining
that he then worked on Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. "This one was very hard for me to do, to try to find new language," he said.

但是聽久了漸漸的覺得同質性愈來愈高…
蝙蝠俠大戰超人是系列電影，主題旋律相同也屬正常
但沒有讓人耳朵一亮、繞樑不絕於耳的驚豔感也是事實
希望他能透過這個決定重拾作曲能量一饗樂迷;;)
