梅伯Mel Gibson可能接下自殺突擊隊續集執導的工作? 根據多家的報導Mel Gibson(鋼鐵英雄), Jonathan Levine(殭屍哪有這麼帥)

據THR的獨家消息來源，工作室(華納)將優先處理自殺突擊隊續集方面的作業，劇本將找來泰山傳奇的編劇Adam Cozad來撰寫，
而導演人選方面尚未決定而梅爾吉勃遜仍是人選名單之一，第一集的導演David Ayer則將專注在開發DC女性角色團體的作品Gotham City Sirens。

在自殺突擊隊飾演瑞克上校及隊長的Joel Kinnaman，近日接受THR專訪時記者問到關於自殺突擊隊S續集的發展，他的回答據了解(續集)目前正在撰寫劇本，
有可能在2018年的某個時間拍攝，但也有可能會有變化，而他也會回歸演出原本的角色。

據deadline的Suicide Squad續集導演消息，西班牙籍導演Jaume Collet-Serra(絕鯊島、孤兒怨)是製作公司看了許多位導演之後鎖定的對象。

更新:THR的瞭解原本是梅爾吉勃遜可能執導，但因劇本延遲及檔期問題，而目前劇本也由Zak Penn(Avengers, Ready Player One)撰寫新劇本中

Deadline的消息，會計師導演Gavin O'Connor將擔任自殺突擊隊續集的執導工作，並撰寫劇本，
至於拍攝的時程，演員的檔期問題可能最快也要2018年底或是2019年才會有動作，一切經觀其變。

華納確認目前聘請James Gunn為續集劇本撰寫，但沒有說明是否直接由James Gunn執導。
