據澳洲當地The Courier Mail媒體報導，尚未命名的Godzilla Vs. Kong續作，獲得政府的拍攝獎勵以及為當地帶來工作人員需求，預計會在黃金海岸和昆士蘭州東南部進行拍攝。這也是這個Monsterverse系列第三次在澳洲當地進行拍攝。
