微軟也表示Windows 7 Service Pack 1只是修正檔的大集合，並不會有什麼功能上的更新。不過大家還是對Windows 7 SP1充滿興趣。日前就有一個版本號碼為「6.1.7601.16556」的SP1檔在網路上流傳，不過更新後除了版本數字不同外，並沒有感覺到什麼差異
