5月4日在英文中叫作「May The 4th」，正好與《星際大戰》中的那句經典台詞「MayThe Force Be With You」(願力與你同在)諧音，於是盧卡斯影業和二十世紀福斯就選擇這一天公佈了藍光版《STAR WARS: THE COMPLETE SAGA》的不少細節資料，結果在全球無數粉絲的關注下，官方網站甚至一度不堪負荷而癱瘓。
《星際大戰》藍光版將於2011年9月12日全球發行、16日北美發行，全套九張藍光碟片，不但有1080p全高清影片、6.1 DTS Surround Sound環繞聲效音效的完整六部曲，還包含40多個小時的特殊花絮內容，其中不少都是從未公開於世的。
《星際大戰》藍光版的前六張光碟依次搭載六部曲《威脅潛伏》、《複製人全面進攻》、《西斯大帝的復仇》、《新希望》、《帝國大反擊》、《絕地大反攻》，均有喬治·盧卡斯本人和眾多電影製作人員的評論音軌。
第七和第八張光碟分別是前三部曲、後三部曲的各種花絮內容，包括刪節場景、加長和可替換場景、道具/模型/服裝設計、藍幕拍攝(Matte Painting)與藝術畫、演職人員訪談、
盧卡斯影業歷史檔案等等。最後一張是星球大戰檔案館，其中有多達八段、總長約七個小時電影周邊紀錄片，包括粉絲作品、人物訪談、歷史回顧、技術揭密等等不同類型，留待大家自己去挖掘吧。

不敢買...還記得大家的蜘蛛人寄到台灣
幾乎紙盒都八角凹掉了吧
這麼好看的包裝損壞了很可惜
還是等得利的大量貨吧?
美版整套售價不用3千台幣...
但我想 "得利" 台版價格一定很"高貴"...
唉....
還是先訂為快，到時候就算沒中文字幕就當作練英文吧。
