黑塔(The Dark Tower)又有新消息，根據deadline獨家報導，黑塔電影將會由Nikolaj Arcel擔任執導。
Nikolaj Arcel曾擔任過瑞典版龍紋身的女孩編劇，以及執導過皇家風流史(Royal Affair)。

2015聖地牙哥動漫展，deadline獨家報導，黑塔將由Nikolaj Arcel執導，
而劇本方面將由Anders Thomas Jensen(窒愛Brothers)重新撰寫劇本。

媒體報導製作公司有意找馬修麥康納Matthew Mcconaughey加入演出，至於是接演哪一位角色(反派?)雖然報導中影提及到，
但目前官方尚未證實是否有此事，都有待後續發展。

deadline的獨家消息指出，曾在瘋狂麥斯:憤怒道裡飾演不死老喬的五名妻妾其中之一(The Dag)的澳洲超級名模Abbey Lee，
正在洽談接演黑塔(The Dark Tower)女主角Tirana，不過根據書迷的反應，Tirana在黑塔的小說系列作品只有在第七本書出現過
deadline也在隨後更新報導指出，目前所得到的消息確實指出Tirana將會這部電影作品裡當為女主角。Abbey Lee近期還有一部作品在
荷魯斯之眼：王者爭霸 Gods of Egypt飾演Anat也即將上映。
