本人留意的是大城市的ISP能提供什麼速度，和「光纖到户」(ftth=fibre to the home)的普及程度，但ftth查不出來。
500Mbps可以看4K電視節目了。
以下是2018年1月在網上找到的資料，全是家庭用戶網速，企業用戶網速快很多。如有錯誤，懇請指正。
印度10Gbps，韓國和日本只有1Gbps網速，真有些意外。

以前是玩國外server 比較在意線路品質，
韓國真的不用意外..韓國本地ISP的也是很混的，
別被之前新聞什麼比較騙了，他們的國際出口頻寬整體還比台灣塞。
只要會塞給你10G也沒有意義，到美國塞的可不輸咱們的HINET。

日本鄉下跟程式差距有不小的，再來是他們其實會抓P2P，
那家用租10G意義就少了，家用會只有到1G我是不意外。

我用了很多年cable 100M，兩年前我的ISP免費加速到120M，去年ISP再次免費加速到150M。

只是四年前已經不再玩BT了，韓劇PT亦很多年沒有玩了。
間中用百度雲秒傳下載內嵌中文韓劇以製作字幕，沒有什麼需要下載的了(我從不下載電影)。

覺得實在浪費，所以今年一月換了 50M。

比較幾個Gbps是沒有任何意義的，比如中國大陸，表面上看起來有1Gbps，但是由於各種國際CDN禁止進入中國大陸，意味著所有的流量都要去擠國際出口，最後實際網速不到100Kbps。
