TSSplitter is intended for splitting and joining large MPEG2 Transport Streams to burn them to DVD. The advantage compared to other similar tools is that you can later join the files and get a file that's 100% like the origninal source file, so you get no klicks or image glitches on the join position, and you can for example re-seed the file via BitTorrent.

TSSplitter also lets you preview the beginning and ending of each partial file, so you can check that the file is not split in the middle of a sentence. You can select from different naming schemes for the partial files or make your own scheme.

tssplitter VS HDTVtoMepg2 兩個軟體的比較如何?
記得過去思路多是用HDTVtoMepg2 來分片.

TSSplitter 我還沒試用過，只是先提供資訊而已，看它的說明功能還不錯。

HDTVtoMpeg2雖然可以去掉一些不必要的資料，但以前的版本聽說分割後有造成馬賽克的情況，
所以心理總是不太放心，一直排斥使用它，我個人分片現在都是使用無損分割的方式(以前剛接觸HD時也是用HDTVtoMPEG2 :p)。

另外，有些人會使用HDTVtoMPEG2去掉廣告，再用它合併，這種方式會造成用KMP播放時間長度不正確，
雖然可以正常播放，但若看需要字幕的片子時，一快速移動，字幕就無法正確配合了，
要解決這種時間的問題，用ViedoRedo就行了，這是我平常在處理韓國HD時所碰到的問題。

依照 HDTVtoMPEG2 現在作者的說法, H2M 最主要的功能在於

Some basic info about HDTVtoMPEG2:

HDTVtoMPEG2 is primarily an MPEG-2 transport stream editor. Editing is performed as a simple transport packet level cut & splice, which means the output has a transport stream discontinuity at the splice points. Different decoders handle discontinuities with different amounts of grace. You may experience audio and/or video break-ups at the discontinuities. If you need editing with no discontinuities in the output, check out VideoReDo.

HDTVtoMPEG2 can break the output into multiple file segments. It can strip unwanted programs and PIDs from the input, and it regenerates tables. It can optionally preserve the transport stream bit rate (to keep a constant bit rate stream as such).

HDTVtoMPEG2 can scan for commercials by detecting black pillarbox bars.

I think the transport stream to program stream conversion was broken with newer versions of HDTVtoMPEG2. There are probably better programs to use for that. (X-Muxer or VideoReDo?)

Despite its name, HDTVtoMPEG2 main purpose is to edit commercials out of HDTV transport streams and write out another transport stream. It still has the capbability to convert to program streams (mpeg2) but this area has received little to no work since v1.10b. If you need this capability you should use another tool like VideoRedo.

總之, 他們都不建議用 H2M 做剪接; 另一方面, VideoRedo 在剪接上則廣受好評推薦.

再者, 也有人在 DOS 下做 Joining .ts:

呵呵..我一直都用 copy /b 來合併說~~
去廣告或是從整場音樂Live中截取一首歌，我則是用HDTV_EXPERT(無損切割)。

感謝大家useful information,
我會常用H2M 有兩個好處,
1. 可以把眾多小ts 併成 4400MB 的分割檔案,一次就可以併檔及切成可以搭配silu 字幕的大小.
2. Usenet 上常會有英語+德語的檔案,可以利用H2M把檔案變化成單一聲道.

我也常用TOTAL COMMANDER來分割和合併檔案,很簡捷 ! ^_^

剛才又再次嘗試，splitter, decoder等設定都沒變，
不同的是...用已經用HDTV_EXPERT去掉前後廣告的片源，
這次用TSPE將原來會出問題的部分附近切下來，
結果一切正常....
實在很奇怪？為何之前會出問題？實在想不通...
總之少用TSPE的好，就算用了，也要確定沒問題後才能將原始片源刪掉。

一個簡單易用的軟件...已試過合併好幾個檔....效果十分好!!!

很奇怪,用TSSplitter試了好幾個10G左右切割出來的小檔案去合併
不約而同的都出現了語音不同步的現象
用H2M合併也出現了對比及亮度減損的小毛病......

唉!看來我還是乖乖的用DOS去合併吧...

請問您用無損影片的方式分割，指的是什麼方式呢？
