Intel P965/G965 mother board (G35 support LPCM ?)

Just read from E-zone's HD Media PC and it said the Intel G35 chipset can support LPCM which is far better of other Audio decoder.

I search quite a long from the Internet but still cannot know whether my Intel Mother board P965 contains the G35 chipset or not. Please let me know if you knew it

BTW, I bought my ONKYO 805 a month before and I play the HD-1080p file from my computer and would like to improve the audio output. My config. as per below

WinFast PX7100 GS (Nvidia) DVI to 42' plamsa
use onboard red+white cable x 3 connect to ONKYO AMP (Multi-channel input)
use Media Classic Player to play the file

Video quality is ok but I just seeking a way to improve the sound

Any comments please

理由:驅動研發慢...
導致一些硬體功能不知何時能使用

Currently, my PC using the

Intel Core 2  6420  @ 2.13GHz, 2131 MHz
2GB Ram
WinXPP3 / Vista ultramate

I use to play most of the 1080p without error and screen output is fine. As posted before, I am looking for better sound improvement.

1. Should i change a better display card with HDMI and use it connect to my AMP direct and use HDMI--DVI to my plamsa (as my plamsa only have the DVI).

2. Change a better Sound card and direct connect it from my PC to AMP

Please recommend if any. Thanks in advance

並無提及LPCM,所以看來並不支援.

音響方面我是外行,得請有研究的大大們講解囉!!

ONKYO 805既然有THXR Ultra2 認證

還能解 DTS-HD Master Audio，DTS-HD

Dolby TrueHD

DTS-ES, Dolby Digital EX, Dolby Pro Logic IIx

HDMI (1.3a規格)

原本想建議用原生HDMI 1.3顯卡

串接所有器材,效果應該最好

不過既然電視只有DVI

不如找一張高檔的音效卡

音質應該就有所提升吧?

Yup, I am considering to change some hardware to improve the sound output from my PC.

Any comment on Onkyo SE-200PCI pr Onkyo SE200PCI LTD sound card, or

I buy a better display card which support HDMI and use it connect to my AMP --> Plamsa. Can it be improve the sound ?

Currently,  I changed the setting on the AC3filtering and the sound is improved quite a lot.

如果使用DVI接口向电视机的HDMI接口输出信号，那么DVI接口输出的灰阶信号数值是0-255，而HDMI除了480P分辨率下之外都只接收16-235数值的信号，这会造成靠近纯黑电平和纯白电平有近13%的信号被丢弃了，低于16和高于235的数值如何处理我们暂不讨论，不过大部分液晶电视几乎都是采取丢弃的做法，导致的结果是画面暗部细节丢失，显示为一片黑，高光细节丢失，导致显示为一片白。
