I guess what I am trying to say is, that because RED's tendency to be grainy in dark areas, one needs to be more
careful with the lighting. In fact from my experiences digital cinematography is generally trikier than celluloid or
film. I once shot a scene with one bare 500w light bulb on dimmer on kodak 5219 500T (great stick if I may say), and it looks amazing because film has very
great dynamic range. Same result can be achieved with RED, it just need to be more careful, and some
post adjustment is may also be needed as well. All in all RED is a great camera, that's why I own it, and most music
video production here in Vancouver are shooting with it now, but people should always remember that it is just a
tool, it is the people that make beautiful images.
