這一次的消息來源是刺客聯盟漫畫的作者Mark Millar，他「聽說」刺客聯盟續集將在今年開始製作，預定2011年上片(Millar said that he has "heard" that Wanted 2 would be going into production this year, with an intended late-2011 release.)。預期第一集的俄籍導演會續任導演，第一集的男主角James McAvoy以及重要配角Terence Stamp顯然也會回鍋續演。
由於裘莉的角色已經在第一集的結尾「自殺」，簡直找不到完美的作法好好解釋她的角色出現在續集中(it's likely that there simply was no satisfactory way to properly explain her character's appearance in Wanted 2 after committing suicide at the end of the first movie. )，所以續集沒有裘莉會比較好(and that it is probably for the best that she doesn't return in the sequel.)。
