<p>Firmware Version 2.0.3 incorporates five enhancements to the movie function and a fix to the manual sensor cleaning function of the EOS 5D Mark II camera.</p>
<ol>
<li>Adds or changes the following movie frame rates.</li><br>NTSC:
<ul>
<li>1920×1080 : 30 fps (changed - actual 29.97 fps)</li>
<li>1920×1080 : 24 fps (added - actual 23.976 fps)</li>
<li>640×480 : 30 fps (changed - actual 29.97 fps)</li></ul>PAL:
<ul>
<li>1920×1080 : 25 fps (added - actual 25.0 fps)</li>
<li>1920×1080 : 24 fps (added - actual 23.976 fps)</li>
<li>640×480 : 25 fps (added - actual 25.0 fps)</li><br></ul>
<li>Adds a function for manually adjusting the sound recording level (64 levels).</li>
<li>Adds a histogram display (brightness or RGB) for shooting movies in manual exposure.</li>
<li>Adds shutter-priority AE mode (Tv) and aperture-priority AE (Av) mode to the exposure modes for shooting movies.</li>
<li>Changes the audio sampling frequency from 44.1 KHz to 48 KHz.</li>
<li>Fixes a phenomenon where communication between the camera and the attached lens is sometimes interrupted after manual sensor cleaning. (This phenomenon only affects units with Firmware Version 1.2.4.)</li></ol>
<p>Firmware Version 2.0.3 is for cameras with firmware up to version 1.2.4. If the camera's firmware is already version 2.0.3, it is not necessary to update the firmware.</p>
<p>Movies captured using EOS 5D Mark II cameras with Firmware Version 1.1.0 to 1.2.4 can be played back on cameras updated with Firmware Version 2.0.3. However, if you try to play back movies captured with a camera with the new firmare on a camera with a previous firmare version, a message, Cannot play back image, appears on the camera's LCD monitor.</p><p><br></p>

<P>1.720P無60P模式</P>
<P>2.對於使用5D2來攝影者最大福音是29.97與23.976FPS可以不會在後製時產生影音不同步，23.976FPS也給喜好電影般影像流暢24P喜好者多個選擇(可惜快門仍舊是1/30秒最低值而不是1/24秒)。</P>
<P>3.聲音可以手動調整就可減少爆音產生兩秒的自動消音缺點，更提高了音頻取樣至48Khz</P>
<P>4.影片紀錄可以看光明暗度或RGB圖，增加拍攝時的影像色階確認正確曝光</P>
<P>這些都比較針對於影片的拍攝實用性的方面</P>

<P>於M模式live view中,按info鈕或拍完影像play時也可以，選擇拍攝的檔案按info鍵，以前只支援照片模式現今可去查錄影各個時間點的値</P>

<P>(1) shutter speed 越高 (i.e, 1/125sec, 1/250sec...for 5D2), jerkiness/strobing 畫面跳躍不連續感越明顯 (不自然; 但特殊效果考量除外)</P>
<P>(2) shutter speed 越低 (i.e, 1/30sec, 1/25sec, 1/15sec...), motion blur 越明顯 (or named smeary looks) (不傳神,但特殊效果, 低光考量除外)</P>

<P>依據傳統 film camera 預設都是 180度快門設定, 5d2 拍29.97fps 搭 1/60sec, 24fps 搭1/50sec, 最自然最接近 film looks&nbsp;</P>

<P>若能做到 1920x1080/60i, 那就真要拍拍手, 若是 720p/60p 和 1080/60p 有也, 那就要跟 canon鞠躬了</P>

5DII更新後  FCP 要用compressor 轉成PRORES 422時 ~

會非常爽...

原本用compressor轉5DII檔速度很快

可以直接匯入跟匯出...

更新後變的非常慢...

慢到要抓狂...

一次匯入多個檔案還會當機

30fps變成29.97fps之後就是如此...

我請朋友用他的APPLE筆電試也是如此...
