日版Onkyo TX-NA905的firmware還真難找!

眼看著美版&亞版的TX-NR905都進來了還有著新的firmware 1.05, 日版的TX-NA905的新firmware到現在還沒著落, 寫了信去問日本Onkyo得到的回覆如下:

Dear xxxxx,

Thank you very much for using our product.

Basically, our upgrade addresses bug fix.So, we usually offer FW upgrade after we confirm that a reported problem could be solved by upgrading to a newer version.
Does your unit face any specific problems now?

Just for your reference,For FW upgrade, it would be necessary to bring or send your unit to (1) one of our service centers, (2) a store that you purchased your unit from (if the store is handling repair), or (3) an electric retail store that could accept repair requests like Yodobashi Camera.The actual upgrade work would be done at our service centers.
Please note that international delivery could not be handled and also warranty is valid only in Japan.

之後又發了一封信去問, 回復如下:

Dear xxxxx,

There are some versions available for TX-NA905.
However, as it was written in the previous mail, FW upgrade needs to be done at our service center.

Denon新的一代AV Center可以直接透過網路自動更新firmware.

這一點真的可以為Denon大大加分!!!!

world first LAN ready AV amp, Onkyo NR/NA900.  you can upgrade FW by LAN!
but the new 905 lacks such handy feature.....

tks friends, now my has newest v1.08 FW. but it still doesn't solve HDCP handshake problem with Tosh62........
