跟市場上同類產品(i.e. 3D-XL)不同,聽說這個可以輸出1080@24p! 可使用在2D TV / pj.(效果當然不及120Hz)
IR眼鏡 + emitter set或DLP link眼鏡均可選購, 其他品牌的IR眼鏡和DLP Link眼鏡也可共容, 但因應使用2D TV的用家, 眼鏡和emitter必須能同時對應60Hz / 120Hz.

原r32大大提供的avs forum討論帖，目前已經蓋到40樓、1仟1百多篇的回覆了。
因為購入了2D投影機，所以也對這個機器感到有點興趣了!!

原作者的文中有提到使用60HZ 的LCD投影機來測試3D畫面的效果。
原文如下：
There is also a set of 6 Dip swithces on the rear of the unit,(more on those later). For this test the number 1 dip switch needs to be in the down position as the Epson is a 60hz LCD.

After powering on the PS3 it immeditely recognized that is was connected to a 3D display, YEAH!!! After setting the screen size we were off and running. My first test was Superstardust 3D, and the theatre Unit did its job! After a few clicks I was playing a 3D game on a projector I was never supposed to be playing 3D ANYTHING on! The image is solid with no ghosting, or crosstalk. There is a slight bit of flicker, thats to be expected on a 60hz display, but killing all light sources and pulling the shades, the flicker was unnoticeable in the image. So much for having to buy a brand new projector just to do 3D!

該測試有幾個重點：

1.連接PS3時成功被辨認為3D顯示器(VIP+EPSON 2D PJ)。
2.3D畫面無明顯的鬼影或重像(CROSSTALK)情況，但有輕微閃爍現象。
3.閃爍現象在60HZ的顯示器是預期會出現的，但是透過視聽環境的加強(全黑+強遮光)後可以得到改善。

當然這還是一個3D轉換的新產品，還需要與更多不同機型/不同光學設計的投影機/平面顯示器，作實際測試才知道是不是每一台60HZ/120HZ的顯示器都可以達到像作者形容的那種效果不錯的3D效果。
還是值得關注啦~

The VIP currently provides sync for 120hz or 60hz displays. That means if your display is 3d-ready (120hz), you will get 60/eye. The HD20, like the HD70, is not 3d-ready, so it will sync at 60hz, or 30/eye.

So it will work, but with some flicker.

一般active 3D眼鏡多採用紅外線傳送同步訊號.
AV room太大接收不佳;
眠鏡不對正IR發射器有機會接收不佳;
若投影機置於視聽位遠後方, 可能要加裝IR發射器延長線, 甚至雙IR發射器;
同步訊號有機會被其他訊號干擾.......
Bit Cauldron採用RF傳送, 屬IEEE 802.15.4-2003 (ZigBee radio) 標準, 完全消除以上問題.
