國外IGN媒體已收到SONY所寄出的邀請函，邀請函上並沒有提到任何訊息只有時間2016年9月7日(在台灣時間 2016年9月8日凌晨)
以及舉辦場地美國紐約 PlayStation Theater，這場活動會是發布傳聞許久的PlayStation 4 Neo呢? 靜待9月的來到。

索尼公司CEO平井一夫在2016 IFA接受英國金融時報專訪時透露了PS4 Neo將在下周(採訪時間2016年9月4日)發售
Sony is still placing big bets on its PlayStation home console, with an upgraded, higher-end version, codenamed “Neo”, expected to launch next week. The new device will support ultra-high definition (UHD) resolution and virtual reality, to dovetail with the launch of the PlayStation VR headset in October.

PS4 PRO不支援UHD BD播放應該跌破很多人眼鏡
感覺SONY這次對於UHD BD播放機的態度真的很保守
