Well I followed the Firmware Update instructions to the letter and got the message installation complete. The AP-360T started up ok and 1080P Multimedia splash screen displayed as usual and then nothing.

The TV screen goes blank and the Astone freezes.

I now have a dead box that's only a few days old, so what am I supposed to do now?

I really am pissed as really don't have time to stuff around over the next few days with this.

Just about to pack up the unit to send it back for a refund and tried another couple of times to revert to 1.73 and managed to get it to boot into the menu.

So I'm back to where I started with the sound muting after every little reception glitch, which was the reason I went to 1.74 B2 in the first place.

After my initial joy with this unit I am rapidly losing my like of it.

I'm rapidly "loosing my joy with the unit" also.
I probably wont return the unit, as it works ok as a set top box, and didn't cost me a lot, but I wouldn't recommend it to others until the firmware improves and the thing doesn't crash, and reliably records TV 24 hrs in the future.

Astone, it's really up to you how you manage this.

Personally I'd say port XBMC and contribute some PVR code.
