Tvix M6500A firmware 1.3.59
TViX Update 1.3.59: Early Beta treat 3 (Link posted)
As with the previous release, this is a test version. Test and report
concerning the changes applied and general operations that can be
considered major bugs introduced with this release. All else will be
ignored by us anyway (for those that keep repeating the same things
we already know is not yet fixed or not included)...
Changes from 1.3.55
Added new options of no outline for the subtitle font to improve the showing speed.
Now, audio and subtitle will be selected on the popup.
Fixed a bug that subtitle is not shown when subtitle font size is too large.
Fixed a bug that Audio track selection does not work with mpeg/ts file types.
Fixed Dolby Digital + detection problem
Fixed DTV SPDIF audio output problem when the audio codec is MPEG
Knwon issues,
M4A files are not played correctly.
PCM track on DVD may not output through HDMI with some display.
*** If you play files with HD audio tracks like Dolby TrueHD, ,
Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD MA or LPCM, you better turn on HD Audio pass
through on the setup even though you don’t have a receiver that supports
decoding of these formats. Otherwise, you will hear strange noise with
some repetitive popping noise. Currently, we don’t support core
decoding, if you don’t have a HD audio decoder receiver, you need to
select other then these HD audio tracks audio track for now.
